January Life Savers

I am a mom of 3, a wife of 1, and a business owner of 2.

When I have three kids under foot and a couple small businesses to run life can feel hectic. I am always adjusting, planning, strategizing, and simplifying life so that we can thrive, not just survive! Here are some things I’ve been using around the house and in life this past month that have made day-to-day more doable and enjoyable!

Saalt Menstrual Cup

I have been using the Saalt cup for a few years now and will never go back. Honestly, using this has given me one less thing to worry about. I empty it when I wake up and when I go to bed, that’s it. No changing pads or tampons throughout the day, or even having to remember to keep them in stock at home. Game changer!

Amazon Fire 7 tablet

I would not have survived winter break with out this! Each of my kids has an Amazon Fire tablet and it’s the best thing I’ve bought for myself. Yes the kids use them but really it’s for me. It’s the only time ever that it is completely quiet and peaceful in my house. They pop on their headphones and it’s like heaven for me. The biggest reason we are using these right now is because it’s the only way I can keep them silent while the baby naps. Remember we live in less than a 1,000 sqft, so every and anything wakes her up.

BINO Plastic Storage Bins

Big bins for life! Whenever the kids are home for an extended time period, like winter break, I fill one of these up with single serve snacks and just leave it right out on the table. As mentioned before we live in a tiny home which means a tiny kitchen with no pantry. So snacks live out in this bin so I don’t have to be helping little people eat 5,465 time a day.

Rubbermaid Cleverstore Clear 30 Qt Stackable Storage Containers

If anyone else in the organizing and purging mood like me you need these. Lid locking storage bins are the only way to go. I have been going through our basement and getting everything tidy and stored in these bins.

Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Facial Cleansing Oil

I know I have talked about this cleanser before, and here I am talking about it again. Sorry I’m not sorry! It is a game changer when it comes to managing dry skin, especially in the winter. I know oil cleanser can seem intimidating but trust me, you need to try this. You will be so happy you did!

Nugget Comfort Couch

You might remember when I was going back and forth on getting the Nugget, and then trying decide which one I was going to get. Well we got one and we will never look back. This has been used daily in our household. It have been a ninja obstacle course, a baby blocker, canoe in ocean adventure, fort, house, etc. We love it!

This one is a little outside the box but I had to share it. I have been living in the notes app on my phone. I keep list for home and work in there and have it all neatly organized in different folders. It is saving my life by getting things out of my head and ‘on to paper’.

This one is kind of a duh, am I right. But I still wanted to give it a shout out to keeping me from having to get all 3 kids in and out of the car when I just need milk. And if you’re lucky your Target will bring you out a Starbucks order with your groceries!
