February Life Savers
I am a mom of 3, a wife of 1, and a business owner of 2.
When I have three kids under foot and a couple small businesses to run life can feel hectic. I am always adjusting, planning, strategizing, and simplifying life so that we can thrive, not just survive! Here are some things I’ve been using around the house and in life this past month that have made day-to-day more doable and enjoyable!

I’ve become a food prep queen! Slicing and dicing fruits and veggies for the week, ensuring that food is ready to eat. It’s been a life saver to have a variety of these food storage dishes to keep everything organized in my fridge and ready to go when I want to make a quick salad or pack kid’s luches.
Everybody is dirty, smelly, and sick. Or maybe it’s just my house 😂 This Lysol laundry sanitizer has been a life saver in my house for a few years now. Removing odor and killing germs on clothes.
I have been buckling down in the home office a lot this winter. It seems like work keeps piling up and I’m in my cozies at the computer. A comfortable pair of slippers has been a life saver keeping me warm while the temps continue to decline in Minnesota.
Let’s all have a moment of silence for the fact that this family of 5, of which one is bottle fed, does not have a dishwasher. 😭 This Dawn Power Spray is a life saver when I’m hand washing everything!
We are starting to stack the schedule with gymnastics, swim lessons, evening appointment, weekend activities, and travel. I have purchased this wall calendar for past 3 years and it’s been a life saver keeping our entire families calendar in a central and visible location.
I probable vacuum twice a day, not kidding. The baby is eating solids, we have a dog, and no mud room (which means everyone’s shoe dirt gets tracked right into kitchen through the backdoor). This cordless stick vacuum by Dyson is a life saver for quick clean up all day long!
Oh ya, back to the no dishwasher thing. I have found that basic cheap bath towels are life saver when hand washing and drying our dishes. I spread one out on the counter and I can wash a huge sink full of dishes and have enough space for everything to dry. Dish racks are worthless in my opinion. They take up space when not being used and they hold like 3 things to dry.
