“I love a slim fitting pant when I need a business casual look. Dresses and apple shape bodies are a hard fit, so I often opt for a pant and top. My red flats from the Wardrobe Essentials Checklist are a go-to when I want to add a pop of personality and color to a neutral outfit. Also, that stripe on the side of the pant 🤩 Let’s talk about it. I ❤️ tuxedo stripe on a bottom. It speaks to my preppy sporty style, tossing on the sweater anchors the whole look back to my casual side!”
“For this business casual look, I chose a simple, lightweight sweater dress that had a tie at the waist to accentuate the smallest part of me on my bottom curvy figure and tied it in a bow, in line with the romantic part of my style profile. I paired it with a pair of indestructible tights (they do exist!), low kitten heels that are the most comfortable pair that ever existed, in a contrasting neutral color for a dynamic element, simple but shiny gold hoops with pave crystals, and a basic black tote bag for all my work essentials. Easy to grab and wear in the morning, but still looks put together and ready for a day of meetings at the office.”
