Best of Old Navy
Wrinkled clothes, dirty mirror, and an overdue blog post. I know you can relate to this mom of toddlers managing life in quarantine right now. But it’s here, yeah! My best of Old Navy, a look inside my closet at the pieces I have and love from the ON. Let’s dig in!

High-Waisted Elevate Powersoft 7/8-Length Side-Pocket Leggings For Women
These leggings are like butter and fit just the way this lady likes, high and tight. These have a high rise that is actually high and they don’t fall down when running or doing high impact activity. I love the side pockets and the length is perfect. I am 5’8” and they come just above the ankle. As mentioned they are so soft, and the fabric is breathable and lightweight!
Pleated-Back Swing Tank for Women
I like to update my workout tops about once a year, and this style has just the fit and cut I am looking for. I did have to size down. By sizing down I was able to get a better fit under the arms, however the length got a little shorter. If you want it to fit longer I would shop true to size, if you want a snugger fit under the arm and through the bust shop down a size.
I am wearing a size L.
Lightweight French Terry Side-Vent Top for Women
Sometimes I need a light layer that can bridge the gap between the 15 degree temperature change that happens in spring from morning to afternoon. I love the side vents on this to give a style and more feminine look, it’s great for an athleisure wear piece that feels dressed and put together when I wear it. I also sized down to get a better fit under the arms, but it got a little shorter.
Sleeveless Jersey Swing Dress for Women
This is absolutely the BEST dress I have ever found. Every client I have put in this dress, every person who has tried it on, everyone who I have recommended this dress to has loved it. This dress has a perfect cut to flatter every body shape and the fabric has the perfect drape without cling. It’s lightweight and amazing for summer. In addition the style is effortless to dress up and down. The striped version is more camouflaging and I went down a size, in the solid color I felt more confident and comfortable in my true size.
Jean Jacket For Women
The details, wash, and style of this denim jacket are everything you want in a piece from the Wardrobe Essential Checklist. This layer is a game changer, a must have for any woman’s closet. This jacket can instantly change the look of any outfit, adding structure and shape along with creating a casually chic look! You can checkout my whole denim jacket try-on here.
Luxe Swing Tank
I fell so deeply in love with the swing dress that I had to buy in the tank version too, 4 times over! This is a such a staple in my closet that I add a new color and pattern to my wardrobe each spring. The straps deliver great coverage, the neckline isn’t too low cut, and the drape over the midsection is perfect. Typical to most Old Navy tops the fit under the arm can be loose, I recommend trying both your true size and down a size. What’s good about this tank is that you won’t lose length in the fit when you change sizes!
Relaxed Chambray Classic Shirt for Women
This is hands down my favorite top from the Wardrobe Essentials Checklist! The chambray shirt is so versatile and the possibilities this top can deliver in style and look are endless. I LOVE IT! The one I am wearing is from about 4 years ago, you’ll notice that the current style has only one chest pocket. Either way they are both awesome and you need this in your closet ASAP. I am apple shape and will pretty much always have to size up to get a button down shirt to fit around my belly. But in a shirt like this the extra room on top doesn’t bother me or give me a frumpy look, especially since I always wear this with the sleeves cuffed for a bit of flare!
Lightweight Popover Tunic for Women
Tall girls wear you at!? This tunic top has been a life saver for me in so many situations when I need a simple and classic look of a blouse, but long! I love this with my dark skinny jeans or black pants, then I slip on red flats and have chic and simple outfit. You will love this blouse for a go-to look you can dress up or down, easy to wear when you want to be dress up but not over-dressed! This fabric of this top does change seasonally! Right now it comes in more of a woven knit fabric, where as the winter/fall style is a drapey poly blend. The one I am wearing is from fall/winter 2018 and think the buttons on the placard have changed too!
